What Exactly Is RICEPLEX™ SRB? |

What is Rice Bran ? |

What Does "Stabilized" Mean ? |
|
If left alone, rice bran will naturally go bad, as an enzyme (lipase) interacts with the naturally occurring fatty acids in the bran. The bran would become unusable for human consumption within hours of the milling. Fortunately, a process was developed to deactivate the lipase enzyme. This allowed the bran to become stabilized. Once stabilized, the bran achieves a shelf life of about 12 months. The stabilization process that RICEPLEX™ undergoes, uses a non-chemical method of heat and pressure. |

Is RICEPLEX™ a vitamin ? |

RICEPLEX™ is actually a food. It is a rice derivative. Sort of like a flour made from the bran of the rice kernel. Since the bran contains most of the nutrients, the result is a nutrient-dense food product that contains a great deal of vitamin and mineral components, naturally. There are many ways. Most people like the ease of just drinking it as a milk-like beverage. (Mix a heaping tablespoon or two with about 4-5 ounces of water, let sit for a minute to fully mix together, give it a quick stir, and drink). Other people stir it in to their yogurt, applesauce, or hot cereal, like oatmeal, while still others sprinkle it over their morning cold cereal. Experiment and see what suits you best. If you really want to feel the RICEPLEX™ difference, then we suggest drinking your morning RICEPLEX™ alone and on an empty stomach. It will get into your system quicker and with little digestion. After just 2 to 3 days you'll really start to feel it's effects Helpful NOTE: If you are planning on using RICEPLEX™ as an ingredient in your favorite smoothie or power-shake, then let us suggest using RICEPLEX™ FIBER instead. RICEPLEX™ FIBER doesn't have the insoluble fiber component removed like the original formulation does, so it doesn't dissolve as fully as the original. But this isn't noticed in a shake-like beverage. So, in addition , to RICEPLEX™ FIBER costing less, it provides you with the extra benefit of 7 times the fiber. And most folks could use some extra fiber. |

| We suggest that you have one or two tablespoons in the morning, and another tablespoon about 6 hours later. This second serving will help you to sustain your energy level, and curb any mid-afternoon caffeine/snack craving. | |
| I'm on a Carb-free diet. Can I use RICEPLEX™ ? | |
First remember that when starting or changing any diet and/or exercise regimen, you should always consult with your healthcare provider. With that said, it will probably be agreed that that with the vast nutritional wealth in RICEPLEX™, the suggested serving, with only 5 to 10 grams of total carbohydrates, is well worth placing it into a proper program. |

| We'd love to give you a simple answer here. But the fact is that there are many different kinds of pets, and many animals have very specific nutritional needs. It is strongly advised that you speak with your vet as to the needs of your pet to see if RICEPLEX™ would be beneficial. Rice bran has been used for horse feed for many years with great success, and it is also being used more and more often as an ingredient in both dog and cat food because of its nutritional density, so with these animals you shouldn't have to worry. For all other animals, however, a consultation with your vet should be made. | |

| Cautiously Yes. As an ingredient, RICEPLEX™ adds nutritional value to whatever it is added to. And RICEPLEX™ FIBER can be used in place of flour (substitute up to 50% of the recipe's flour amount) in baking. But remember that high heat can destroy nutrient value, so bake at the lowest temperature permitted to ensure food safety. If adding RICEPLEX™ to sauces, soups, stews, or any other hot item, add when you have removed your product from the heat source and it has cooled down to eating temperature. | |

Freshness and nutrient strength diminish over time, so it only makes sense that consuming a product as close to it's production time is best to ensure optimal benefits. We want you to use your RICEPLEX™ products while they are at their peak, so we set the expiration date about 7 months or so out from the actual production, hoping to encourage earlier use and ensuring stronger nutrient value. | |
